DEFIBTECH Pediatric Electrodes for Lifeline View/ECG/Pro AED- The Pediatric pads are  recommended for use on patients less than 8 years of age and less than 55 lbs (25 kg) in body weight. These pads are design to reduce the energy that is delivered to the patient and is capable of analyzing ECG to detect shockable/non-shockable heart rhythms. The package illustrations shows the placement of the pads for a child,  which are front and  back vs the placement of adult pads. The DEFIBTECH Pediatric Electrodes

have a shelf life of 2 years with the pads expiration date printed on the pads package.  These pads are intended for single use. We recommend that you keep an extra set of pads stored with your AED.
