Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator has an easy to follow interface, three step operation and CPR voice coaching to remind the responder of CPR basics. the FRx defibrillator is rugged enough to handle life in a vehicle yet lightweight and small enough for portability. The device can withstand jetting water, loads up to 500 pounds, a one meter-drop onto concrete, use it in temperatures as low as 32° F (0°C) or as hot as 122° F (50°), take it to an altitude of 15,000 feet and still guide the user through a defibrillation with clear, calm voice commands and descriptive visual icons.
Once you receive the Phillips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator you will only need to turn the unit on. This starts the self-test and will give you confirmation that the device is ready to use. From here there is very little needed in order to maintain your FRx AED. THe FRx regularly performs daily self-tests.
The FRx can be adjusted to simplify the rescue of a child with the infant/child key. This is a unique feature in the industry that allows the seamless transformation of the FRx into a pediatric defibrillator and adjusts voice instructions and therapy to the needs of a child. One pad set works for adults, children or infants.

The Philips FRx AED comes with a free carrying case, one set of pre-installed SMART Pads II, pre-installed Battery, Heart Smart CPR/AED Rescue Kit, Owner Manual, Quick Set-up guide, and maintenance booklet. Battery includes a 4 year warranty, pads are warranted until expiration date.
